Why I'm Building This Site

I’m building this site to have a small place of my own on the internet. Somewhere to write about the work while I’m doing it, before the details disappear or the story becomes tidier than it really was.

I spend my time building and operating small internet businesses. That involves a lot of questions: what to make, who it might help, how people will find it, and whether an idea is worth another week of work. I want to keep a record of those questions and the decisions that follow.

What I’ll write about

Some notes will be about projects. Others will cover an experiment with SEO, an AI tool I’m testing, or something I’ve learned about affiliate businesses and digital products. There will also be things that didn’t work and assumptions I had to change.

The plan is simple: write a Markdown file, publish it, and get back to work. I don’t need a complicated system to start paying closer attention.

This first note is a placeholder and a test of that workflow. I’ll replace it as the site takes shape. For now, having somewhere to put the next thought is enough.
